You were a father figure to me when I needed it most and always seem to pop up after just when I needed someone. I remember I was stranded on the side of the road and you just happened by and helped. You are a great man that touched a lot of lives. You will be missed. Still have my high school class ring you paid for. A lot of great memories John. Wish I would have had one beer with ya!

John was such a wonderful and caring person. He wasn’t just a boss, he was a caring and loving man to all who knew him. We go way back and have shared so many great moments and conversations of his love for family. Although a tragic loss, he will live on in my heart. My deepest sympathies go to his family and for us left that will cherish his memory. Maria, we love you! Samantha, Sarah, Jenny and John, I pray you find peace as his legacy lives within you.

Mr John was very much loved and respected at our store, I was lucky to work with him in fresh foods for many years and it was always a great day if he was there. He was a big part of planning our Christmas parties and always made sure there would be enough food. He spent hours preparing the different meats and then carving them up he wanted to make sure everyone enjoyed themselves and had plenty to eat. I sure did miss him when he left but It was always a happy moment when he came in shopping with his wife Maria, such a lovely couple He loved his family so much. Prayers for them all at this very sad time. Susan karrick.
