Carol Mosny

Obituary of Carol Mosny

In Loving Memory of Carol S. Mosny

Carol (affectionately known as Curly) Mosny’s journey through life came to a peaceful end at the age of 89 on December 3, 2023, at the Good Shepherd Hospice Center in Auburndale, Florida.  She was born in Chicago, Illinois on September 28, 1934.  She was a cherished daughter, sister, aunt, cousin, and friend, whose warmth and kindness left an unforgettable mark on all who knew her.

Her warm-heartedness, gentle kindred spirit, and smile were a constant source of comfort to those around her.  Carol had a passion for reading, animals, fishing, and the beach.  She loved her cat, Angel, and all other animals.  She also loved exploring nature and watching wildlife in its natural habitat.  Cheering for her favorite sports, the Chicago Cubs and the Miami Dolphins, was also a key part of Carol’s life.

May Carol’s spirit find eternal peace and her memory serve as a guiding light for all who were fortunate enough to have known and loved her. Carol’s legacy of love and generosity will continue to live on in the hearts of her family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Stephen and Katherine Mosny, and brother, Richard S. Mosny.  She is survived by her brother, Roy Mosny of North Lake, Illinois, and several other loving relatives and friends.  Interment will be held at Mount Vernon Memorial Estates at 11875 Archer Avenue, Lemont, Illinois 60439 on January 11, 2024, at 1:00 PM.  For additional information, go to Steele’s Family Funeral Services’ website at https://steelesfamilyfuneralservices.com/.
